Privacy Policy

Effective May 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Oshon AI Inc. ("Oshon", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit oshon.ai, submit our contact form, exchange emails with us, or engage us under a Master Services Agreement.

1. Information we collect

You provide it directly

  • Contact form submissions — name, work email, company, project description, stack, timeline, and budget range when you fill in our contact form.
  • Email correspondence — anything you send to sales@oshon.ai, support@oshon.ai, or another Oshon address.
  • Engagement contracts — for paying customers we retain the signed MSA + SOW + invoices and the contact info of named project participants, per the retention rules in the MSA.

Collected automatically

  • Server logs — your hosting provider may log IP addresses, request URLs, user-agent strings, and timestamps for security and rate-limiting purposes. These are not joined with your identity unless you also submit personal information via the contact form.
  • No third-party analytics — the docs site does not currently load Google Analytics, Plausible, or any other analytics tool. If we add one, we will update this policy and name the vendor.
  • No tracking cookies — the docs site does not set tracking cookies. Local-only state (theme preference) is stored in your browser's localStorage; it never leaves your device.

2. How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry or support request.
  • To prepare, deliver, and invoice services described in a signed MSA + SOW.
  • To send you account- and project-related communications (kickoff schedules, deliverable notices, invoices, follow-ups).
  • To comply with legal obligations (tax records, AML rules).
  • We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

3. How we share it

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers we use to run Oshon — for example, our email host, e-signature provider (DocuSign / HelloSign), invoicing software (Stripe / QuickBooks / etc.), and the cloud host serving the docs site. Each is bound by its own privacy obligations and processes data only on our instructions.
  • Legal compliance — when required by court order, subpoena, or other binding legal process. We will give you notice unless the legal process prohibits it.
  • Business transfers — if Oshon is acquired or merges, personal data transfers to the acquirer under the same privacy terms.

4. Retention

We retain contact-form submissions and email correspondence for as long as we have an active commercial relationship plus seven (7) years for tax and audit purposes, then delete them.

Engagement records (signed MSAs, SOWs, invoices) are retained for seven (7) years post-engagement per applicable accounting and statute-of-limitations rules.

5. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion of your personal information (subject to mandatory retention rules — see above).
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to processing or withdraw consent (where consent is the basis for processing).
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@oshon.ai. We respond within 30 days.

6. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify affected individuals if a breach occurs and is required to be disclosed under applicable law.

7. Children

Oshon is a B2B service and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. International transfers

Oshon AI Inc. is based in {{JURISDICTION}}. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with cross-border data-transfer restrictions, your information may be transferred to and processed in Canada and the United States. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent lawful mechanism where required.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced via email to active customers and as a notice on this page.
