How does the annual license work?
Buy a license for Year 1 at full price. Renew at 30% off every subsequent year you stay in v1. Your Year-1 fee covers all v1.x releases — patches, minor versions, and new components added to the catalog within the same Major Version.
What happens if I don't renew?
You keep using the latest v1.x version you've installed, indefinitely — no further updates after lapse. Re-purchase at the Year-1 price if you want to come back. (Per the Lapsed-Term Continuation Right in our commercial license §4(e) — full text provided with purchase or on request from legal@oshon.ai.)
What's included in 'updates'?
All v1.x releases — patches and minor versions — included while licensed. v2 will be a separate license purchase when it ships. v3 will be a separate product (likely under a new package namespace). Your renewal discount only applies within the same Major Version.
Bundles vs Packs — when does each make sense?
Bundles cover the full Pro catalog. Pick Solo if you're a single developer or designer using most of the Pro components. Pick Team for an enterprise app team that needs more than one seat. Pick Organization for a 25-person eng org with SSO + governance. Pick Enterprise for 50+ seats, multi-tenant white-labeling, regulated industries, or anything that needs a security review and SLA. Packs make sense when you only need one pack — a designer using just the Data Visualization widgets, or a team using only the AI chat surfaces. Two packs = pay almost the same as Solo, so Solo is the better deal as soon as you need a second pack.
Can I use Oshon Pro for commercial / client / open-source projects?
Commercial + client work — yes. Your Pro license covers any product you ship that embeds the components, including client-billed work. For open-source projects, get in touch — we have a separate track for OSS maintainers.
Refund policy?
7 days, full refund, no questions asked. Email sales@oshon.ai within the first 7 days of your initial purchase and we'll process a full refund. The 7-day window applies to Year-1 fees only, not renewals.
How do team seats work?
Named seats. Your license holder manages who's on the seat list. Reassigning seats between team members is fine and expected. Concurrent shared logins (one seat used by three people at the same time) are not allowed. Team includes 5 seats; Organization includes 25; Enterprise is unlimited. Pack and Solo are single-seat.
